Once you have received an email or phone call from The Consulate-General, Mumbai informing that your passport is ready for collection, your new Passport can be collected from the Australian Consulate-General, Mumbai without an appointment
Monday – Friday between 09.00 am – 12.00 pm and 02.00 pm – 04.00 pm.
If you wish to authorise another person to collect your passport, you must write an authorisation letter to authorise another person to collect the passport on your behalf. The person needs to carry a proof of identity.
If you are unable to collect your passport, a courier fee of INR 250/- is charged as the courier fee within India.
Kindly note the Australian Consulate-General, Mumbai cannot send passports to a location outside India.
